INTERREG IVC programme

Helping Regions of Europe to work together to share knowledge and experience

 

TOOL QUIZ is funded by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund through the INTERREG IVC programme for interregional cooperation.

 

Launched in 2007 and running until 2013, this programme is part of the European Territorial Cooperation Objective. It is aimed at  public authorities (in particular regional and local authorities) and to bodies governed by public law from all 27 EU member states (plus Switzerland and Norway).

 

Through the exchange, sharing and transfer of experience, knowledge and good practices, the INTERREG IVC Programme aims to improve the effectiveness of regional policies or instruments and contribute to the economic modernisation of the European Union.

 

Projects can be undertaken under two main thematic priorities: ‘Environment and risk prevention’ or ‘Innovation and the knowledge economy’ which include sub-themes such as employment, human capital and education.
